4 Spring Skin Saviors {My Favorite Things}

Spring. First of all, where are you? It is April and I drove to work today in snow. Stahp this ridiculousness, I'm ready for warm weather, my Jack Rogers, and spring dresses. But since spring is indeed here, let's talk spring skin. My skin gets sooo dry throughout the winter months. Plus, as winter is our busiest season with cheerleading, I admittedly don't take care of my face as well as I should. Sometimes I get home from an away game at midnight and crawl into bed without washing my face. I know, I know, that is horrible to do. I'm working on it. But now is the time to break those bad habits and treat yo face right! Spring means renewal and revival, so I wanted to share four of the best products, in my opinion, to help you wake up and refresh your sleepy winter skin.

1. Image Skincare Ormedic balancing facial cleanser

This face wash was first introduced to me shortly after I was crowned Mrs. Indiana. Indy Laser, a wonderful Mrs. Indiana sponsor, carries Image Skincare products and so I got some to try and fell in love. I have combination skin, often dealing with an oily T zone. This does exactly what the name says; it balances. My face feels clean after I use it, but not tight or dry. I completely notice a difference in my skin when I use this cleanser.

2. Better Skin Co. Mirakle Cream
Currently obsessing over The Better Skin Co.  products like their amazing Mirakle Cream. It is handcrafted in the USA and features ingredients like coconut oil, sea buckthorn, shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe, and soothing algae to help moisturize my skin. I use it at bedtime, as it is a thicker cream than an average daily moisturizer. It leaves my face feeling so soft and cool🥒 Plus, The Better Skin Co.'s products are better for you: paraben-free, gluten-free, and vegan🌿
Head over to any Ulta Beauty near you and grab some for yourself!

3. Crabtree and Evelyn Pomegranate and Argon Oil Nutri-Oil
Anyone else get the itchiest skin on the planet this time of year?🙋‍ Most days, I can usually be found begging my husband to scratch my back...and arms...and legs...because my dry skin is driving me nutso. I started using Crabtree and Evelyn’s Pomegranate & Argan Nutri-Oil recently and it’s ahhhhhmazing for super dry crocodile skin like mine🐊 It smells great and soaks in quickly- No greasy residue. Pomegranate seed oil, Argan oil and grapeseed oil work to leave my skin deeply conditioned. I used it last night before bed and woke up this morning with skin that wasn’t itchy for the first time in months! Want my promo code to save you 20% off your purchase PLUS free shipping? 4. NARS concealer
This may surprise some, but I rarely use foundation. If I’m going to be onstage or at a fancier event, then I’ll use it but generally I just use this magical stuff under my eyes and call it good. The NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is unreal. I use a beauty blender to swipe some under my eyes to cover my inherited under eye circles, and BAM I’m ready to go. My perfect shade is Custard- A yellow tone, best for light to medium complexions. The great thing is that it blends so flawlessly and doesn’t look like I’m wearing anything. It’s a lifesaver! And the price? Only $30 gets you a pot that lasts seemingly forever. Great price for a great product.
