Long Live Leia

We often confuse actors with the roles they play. We forget that they are real people, much more than and different than the characters we associate them with on screen. But, we didn't just fall in love with Princess Leia because of her scripted words or her iconic wardrobe. We fell in love with her because she was intelligent, witty, and brave. You can't write her courageous spirit in a script or draft it in a story board. That's real. We love Leia because of the path she paved for all budding actresses and galactic heroes. That wasn't acting, that was just being her. It is a sad day in this galaxy. RIP Carrie Fisher.
